The Super Sonic Wolverine and the stuff dreams are made of

Little Jack Jack is a big talker. I try to catch what he has to say on the video camera just to capture his husky, beautiful little voice. After church last week I got an email from another mom who told me how much she loved to hear all Jack has to say. I am always on the edge of my chair though, because that child can switch to a super sonic sound in an ear splitting second. And at night, or if baby Jack is upset...the level of his voice is impressively loud; super sonically loud! Add that to the pinch and grab that he does if he has a fraction of a finger nail and that is how he got the name "The Super Sonic Wolverine"!

Brayden has always had a really good throwing arm, with pretty good aim. And now, he can throw a perfect spiral with the football. He is also a pretty good cusser. I smell a scholarship!!!(Have you seen that commercial?) It is the stuff his daddy's dreams are made of!

This Hot Hot Summer: Part II

More randomly organized pictures from the past few weeks:

We were all supposed to load up and go watch the Twins destroy the Royals, but the heat index was supposed to be between 110 and 115. So Jeremiah stayed home with the air conditioning loving babies and I braved it with the rest of the Waldbillig clan. 115 may be nothin' for a Texan or a Californian, but that is hot around here! But I got to spend some Q.T. with Auntie Dan-o.

More water loving Jack.

It was his favorite place to be on Independance Day.
The water is a little high at Grammie and Buppa's. Now it us up waaaay above flood stage and much higher than in this photo.

Jack loves Peanut...well, her tail at least. And he is so fast, and can climb most everything. It is pretty hard for her to get away from him if I don't scoop her up and drop her off somewhere safe.

More after dinner pool time!

Brayden puts away the silverware all by himself now!

Awww, cute baby!

Who needs swimtrunks when your in your own backyard (and the neighbors can't see through the trees)?

This hot, hot summer: Part I

There is so much to report lately...and we have been stuck inside with tempatures soaring above 110 degrees. But finding new ways to entertain little ones when they don't understand why we cant go outside (and wanting to pull my own hair out from not being able to go outside) is enough to exhaust a person on a daily basis...for over a week! So here are the pictures from the last few weeks, in no particular order, just to get them posted!

I know, this isn't the best idea to let them do this...but it made them laugh and entertained them both.

We had just come inside from an afterdinner swim (the only time it cooled off enought to go swimming) and were getting ready for bed. Jack Jack felt like laughing after his crawl across the pool to stand next to the slide.

An after dinner swim.

We were so happy to be outside!

The misquitos were even blessedly cooperative and stayed away.

At the beach on the 5th of July.

Jack LOVES the water!

Uncle Nick, Mav and Timmy are taking off for a wild tube ride.

Then I got to take lil' Linc out for a wild ride!

Mav learned to swim on his own...mostly underwater.

One...Two...Three!

Jump!

And Brayden loved jumping off of the dock.

Later this evolved into one..two...three...nine.

Earlier it had been one...two...three...you jump!

But he loved it!

Especially his Cacheega.

(His Cacheega is his CARS themed life jacket. You know, Lighting says "Cachow!" and the other car, Chick, says "Cacheega Cacheega!" and now everything from the movie is called a Cacheega. I love speaking their language!)

Taking Brayden out for his first tube ride. Not scared a bit.

He wanted to go again, as soon as we were done.

And now he loves to fish...he has actually caught several of the little guys (and not just sticks anymore!). He askes if he can go fishing all of the time.

These two are best pals. Brayden throws the ball and Macy jumps for it, bringing it right back to Brayden's feet for him to throw again. They can do that for hours.

More fishin.

And more to come!

Little Jack's day and Braydens sweet thoughts

Today, Jack pulled himself up on the bathtub to a standing position. Then, he put his hands on my knees and cruised over. Later, he got himself from where he was standing, holding onto the toybox to grab the little ladderbacked naughty chair (we use it for time outs). He proceeded to push it around the living room and take little steps behind it. Yup, he is 7 months old.

My little Brayden-Butt said things the last few weeks that sounded like this:

"Mom! Wooowww!"
"Wow! Mamma, tanks!"
"Sorry mamma!"
"Big truck!"
"magacycle!"
"I miss Mav"
"I miss T-T"

Fourth of July photos still to come, once I get the camera back from Auntie Deandra.

Talking Jack

Today Jack said "Hi!"

Brayden walked up to his stroller, and with a cheery little face and his deep little voice, Jack responded with "hi!". That is three words. He is 7 months old and says "mamma", "dadda" and "hi". I guess "Brayden" is a little too hard for him yet! :)

He is also completely fearless; he uses the toys to pull himself up to stand, and now the chairs. I don't know how to baby proof the house for him!

He loves to splash in water of any kind, too!
